With Victoria station and Victoria Coach Station just a 5-minute walk away and piles of things to see and do from The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Victoria Palace Theatre all walkable distance away, you’ll get to discover the streets of London.
With Victoria Station and Buckingham Palace a few minutes’ walk away, it is hard to beat to this location! Amazing 24-hour transport links to attractions, parties, airports, coaches (to the rest of the UK/Europe), and almost anywhere! Astor Victoria is the dream place for a base in London.
The excellent local markets, restaurants, pubs, vintage stores, coffee shops and galleries, all within a 15-minute walk of Big Ben, will make you feel like a true Londoner! This, combined with staff whom love
The employees were very friendly, the food was good, the bed was comfortable. Although one of the cabin in the washroom couldn't be used... Overall, I recommend. I did had a hard time sleeping but it was mainly because of other customers that didn't seem to realized that other people tried to sleep.
This hostel was very good, very clean. The bed and the sheets are comfortable. The pub is friendly and very nice to eat or drink. The hosts are very friendly. The fitting out are good thinking (plug for each bed with USB, toilet deodorant ...). The breakfast are delicious. This hostel is really nice, the bathrooms were very clean. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The pub is very welcoming and friendly, very good and cheap to eat or drink. The staff were very kind. The furnishings are very well thought out (taken for each bed with USB, deodorant in the toilet ...). The breakfast was excellent.
we stayed three nights in this hostel ... it is dirty and neglected .... no ventilation in the dormitories where we were 24 ... the condensation was oozing along the windows (which are doomed) and along the walls .. the toilets were clogged, as well as the showers ... too much negligence !!!
This hostel is nice. The staff is available. The only negative is the showers.
The Pub is nice decor, great atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and helpful. But it gets bad once you walk through the doors for the hotel. The facilities are dilapidated, cleanliness doubtful, sanitary do not talk about it. No common room to sit outside the pub, so with the obligation to consume if you want to ask to discuss. The free breakfast offered in the morning is just to avoid: instant coffee, bread or cereals, no orange juice, no jams, just butter to put on. So for one night, it goes, it's cheap. But otherwise...
DIRTY! To the point of not being able to use the showers. 2 toilets and showers for 36 rooms. The walls are thin, we hear all the occupants of the inn. They do not change sheets, blankets and "pillows" when the occupants change. They never come to clean the rooms. In short, I don't see any positive points. Over 3 nights I couldn't sleep a single whole night.
Hostel very well placed, clean, convenient, comfortable with a great atmosphere and nice people! Bonus: very convenient and economical to take the proposed breakfast.
People are very welcoming and helpful. The location is nice. The atmosphere is warm.
Good experience, for young people and taken by young people, which makes the stay more enjoyable. The location is perfect. Facilities somewhat old and if it would be missing something more clean. Generally good, for young people who do not care where to sleep.
To spend a night or two low-cost is fine: it is well located (near Victoria station) and the workers are very friendly and help you in whatever you need. The drawbacks are that there are not many bathrooms and showers and the cleaning can be improved. There are quite a lot of noise at night and in the morning from people who come and go.
Located in the district of south-west London, The Crown is situated on the lively Lavender Street in Battersea. As well as an extensive bus network nearby, which connects the area with much of south and central London, The Crown has three tube stations and two railway stations walkable distances away.
The London Waterloo Hostel, one of London's best loved and best located hostels. Our team are on hand to ensure every traveler has a uniquely memorable stay and a fantastic London experience. We offer a great location in Lambeth ,Zone 1, only 15 minutes walk to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. There is a bicycle docking station around the corner and a 24-hour bus stop at the end of the road. Lambeth North Tube station is only a five-minute walk from the hostel.
Extrêmement sale et foutage de gueule
Plutôt pas mal !
Despite the pleasant nights, the hostel is in very bad condition .. Sleep at midnight, standing at 7am to avoid staying longer in this hostel. Breakfast is acceptable (fresh apple juice, milk ('' normal '' or soy), orange juice (it did not seem to be put a fridge ..), 4 cereals and toast toasts). I still wonder if one of the people who held the reception spoke English well .. Certainly we are not 100% bilingual but we used simple words, sentences simple story to make us understand but as soon as we spoke to him in English (gently and articulate well) we had to systematically repeat several times, see to mimic to make us understand (which is not nice when we want to make efforts in English .. We saw two other people to The hostel was very friendly, quiet and polite, however, the hostel is extremely well placed for easy walking to see Big Ben and the surrounding area, and transportation (bus and metro) is also 5 minutes away.
Good reception, impeccable bedding and nice breakfast !!
Not far from the center, good reception and clean! Perfect for a short getaway to London
Pleasant stay for a few nights in London
The place to stay in London! The Steam Engine is a hop, skip and jump away from London’s main attractions. Head towards the river to see London in all its glory. Walk between Big Ben, the London Eye, museums and more – and don't forget to get that perfect selfie! #PubLove
Our hostel is located just a few minutes walk from Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and the Albert Memorial. The tube stations of Gloucester Road and South Kensington are right on our doorstep so you can easily connect to other parts of the city whilst two of London`s most famous landmarks, the Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum, are just moments away.
The staff very friendly, location very well. But for against having to pay a bath towel I do not think it's too normal. The household is not done every day which is unpleasant because the bathrooms still dirty. I personally recommend this place to young people and to those who do not need too much comfort.
This hostel is very well located, it is next to several tourist areas. It is clean, maybe a little flat on the cleanliness of the showers on the floor 6.
Less modern than advertised in the photos, room not too well maintained but enough to sleep. the showers are at variable pressure according to which one. billiards and table football is a shame; little dej correct attention for the payment they withdraw once the stay finished and not to the reservation and thus bank commission afterwards ...
Great hostel, just a few small negatives
700 metres from Chelsea FC , Stamford Bridge is 800 metres from Queen Elizabeth Hostel, while Battersea is 2.7 km from the property. London City Airport is 17 km away.
2k away from Earls Court and Kings Road.
london Eye - 6km
Tower of London - 9km
Camden is London’s hub for alternative and creative culture. We are just minutes away from the Camden Markets, Regent’s Park, the Camden Locks and Primrose Hill.
Superb welcome, the bed and the roommate was cool. Little toilet / shower & hygiene therefore ...
Lunch not too bad or good.
The place is unwelcoming, very dirty, the dormitory looks like a real squat, or 18 people pile up in a tiny room. I do not really recommend for the price, the place is unhygienic, you can not sleep between return trips and snoring ...
The place is dirty, all the room have a very weird disgusting smell, there is just one toilet in a floor with probably 60 beds. Thats understandable due to the price. What I really dislike is the pub downstairs. Some nights I would dine in my room because there would be 20 absolutely drunk guys steaming alcohol, fighting about football or talking about "the girl with massive boobs that suck their dicks". The lounge for the hostel guests has very old forniture, horrible couches and a shy fridge and microwave that compose the whole 'kitchen'. Location isnt great either. So if you can afford a bit more, I wouldnt recommend you to go here.
I found that the hostel did not necessarily correspond to what I expected. The style is a bit rustic and dated. The private room in which I was with my cousin consisted of a bunk bed and the sink that was there, the water did not flow. In terms of the cleanliness of bathrooms and showers it was not great. However, the staff was nice. Nevertheless, the value for money was interesting since we came to shop and we were always outside and we just go back to drop our things and sleep. I think we should still review the equipment because one of the two showers did not work.
Sorry ! Bug bed horrible night
Stay pretty cool, generally clean the only problem is the windows (single glazing and some impossible to close) a lot of noise at night. Super well located
Thanks to Steve for his kindness
I stay here for 4 nights and I didn't like it the room was too warm, the area where it's doesn't sems to be too good at night but the location its perfect and during the day too Camden town its amazing, perfect breakfast.
and nice stafd
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the team was very nice and understanding, also very helpful. The accomadation were very nice. I'm very happy with my stay there.
