La Berlinale - Berlin

If you’re in Berlin in February, the International Film Festival, Berlinale, whose reputation is on par with that of Venice or Cannes is a must. Around 500 000 spectators from many countries have the chance to watch an extraordinary selection of films from around the world.

Prizes awarded for best film at the festival are the Golden Bears. Silver Bears are given to the best actors and actresses as well.
