Museums in Dublin

Dublin has some beautiful museums that are recommended to visit if you have a little time, or if a rainy day makes you want to stay indoor. And what is great about Dublin is that the entry of all the national museums of the city is free! Private museums, like the Dublin Writers cost about 5-6 euros.

The National Gallery on Merrion Square and the National Museum of Archaeology and History on Kildare Street are two of the largest and finest museums in the city.
Founded in 1854, the National Gallery offers its visitors a beautiful collection of Irish art and art from other European countries.
It is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:30 p.m.. It remains open later on Thursday evening.
