Assessment

As a structure it is not very safe during the night because the doors always remain open and there are not even wardrobes to store luggage. Furthermore, we are not there regarding cleanliness; the beds always remain unmade and we don't talk about the bathrooms. The only thing guaranteed is the bed and the bathroom and the atmosphere as soon as you enter the hostel isn't the best either.

We were transferred to another hostel (Villa Luzzatti) due to bedbugs!! Hygiene leaves something to be desired. I don't recommend it at all.

Expensive for what it is !

A weird place and super rude people

I arrived at the hostel, they told me that there are no places available even though I reserved and paid, they sent me to another hostel which is also dirty and the receptionist is super weird who wanted me type pcq I wanted to pay by card, and then he told me to get out of here, all this during the night, I spent a horrible night in the street because of them

Not as described, uncomfortable, unsanitary, disappointing.

Arriving at the hostel, we were moved to another hostel due to lack of space, 15 minutes away on foot, which took us further from the location we had chosen. In the new San Lorenzo Guest House hostel, we found ourselves in a 6-person female dormitory with private bathroom as agreed, but: - the bedroom door did not close (damaged door which opened at the slightest gust of wind) - the bathroom was unsanitary (shower and doors not clean) - broken shower head (and therefore water was coming out of the pipe) - no hot water - electricity point not up to standard (switch, sockets) - no locker - no common area/kitchen as you would expect from a hostel. After expressing our dissatisfaction, we were relocated after 2 nights out of 4 in another 4-person female dormitory with private bathroom. This room had the same problems as the previous one, and more: - the shower door did not close (but the shower head remained attached to the pipe) - the window shutter was broken and therefore let in light.
