HostelRembulan Langkawi is located on the outskirts of Cenang Beach, approximately 450m away from the pristine Cenang beach front. It is an idyllic island retreat with exposed brickwork and stunning artwork on the common area. An ideal base to explore Langkawi. Well within the budget for any discerning travelers that seeks peaceful nights under the moon, hence the name Rembulan which means The Moon in English language.
Social and fun
Our special day is on Thursday Night. We have our local Night Market. Malaysian way of Night Market is a food heaven for all of us. This Night Market is located just a walking distance from our Hostel. We often make a walking trip for all our guest to test our tastefully local food!

Surroundings
The famous Cenang Beach is just 450m away from Rembulan. That also means the rest of the Cenang strip is easily accessible by the pedestrian walk way. There's a mall, plenty of eateries and beach bars around. There's also good coffee shops from the locals to commercial brands. Any other interesting landmarks on your mind? Just ask us!
Just a little hint :) On a good day, Mount Raya can be seen clearly all the way from Rembulan!

The brothers running the hostel make you feel welcomed and included in any social activities on going. Music nights, BBQ and a sunset trip. Dorm room is air conditioned and the bed great size. Comfy pillow was a big +. Quiet area and close to beach Chenang (approx 5 min walk, if you walk slowly). I also appreciated that the staff could help out with booking ferry to Koh Lipe, rent you a scooter etc to a better price than you would get yourself.
Rembulan is a great laid back hostel and you'll definitely enjoy the vibe here. Wan (or One?) the host is a really laid back guy and he and his friends are great fun to talk to. The beds are comfortable, with clean showers and decent facilities as well. There's also a small cafe next door and main beach is only ~500m away.
