About the place
HostelWe are a community driven hostel run by outdoor enthusiasts. As a small 25 bed hostel, we focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for domestic and international travelers. Our staff enjoy exploring Alaska and sharing advice on hikes and things to do for travelers on a budget. For outdoor travelers needing outdoor gear, we can rent you outdoor gear and we are also conveniently located within short walking distance to shops like REI and Alaska Mountaineering and Hiking.

Live music every two weeks, tipi with a fire pit and a wood burning sauna.

Coffee lovers we use fresh organic coffee beans and our breakfast includes do it yourself pancakes and oatmeal. Our kitchen is available to all guests for cooking throughout the day. We also have an organic garden & invite you to pick fresh vegetables to go with your meals!

Surroundings
For travelers exploring the outdoors, our hostel is centrally located in mid-town Anchorage and walking distance to hiking stores like REI and food markets. You are also a short walk away from cafés, restaurants, and night life. For travelers flying in to Anchorage, our hostel is less than 15 minutes away by taxi or 20 minutes by bus. Flight arrives after 11pm? late check-ins can be arranged with advanced notice.

We are bicycle friendly and offer bicycle rentals to help you explore Anchorage and it's surrounding trails.
