Bed & Bicycle is a backpackers hostel located just outside Colombo, 10 minutes away from the beach. The atmosphere is homely, chilled out and peaceful with its comfortable indoor & outdoor lounge areas as well as a rooftop overlooking the neighborhood. The beds are made super comfy with 8'' thick spring mattresses, breakfast is fresh and sourced from nearby local markets and a fleet of free bicycles is at your disposal so you may explore the surrounding areas.

We are located in the midst of a bustling neighborhood, where you are privy to the local culture with everything from fresh fruit and vegetable stalls to the local fish market, many prominent bakeries, restaurants as well as many bars and pubs only 5 minutes away. The beach is a 10-minute walk away and the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day with Lion Larger in hand and beautiful sunset views!

1. General Housekeeping hours 11am-2pm.
2. Locker key and towel to be returned upon check out. Lost Locker key - 25USD/ Lost Towel- 15USD.
3. No guests allowed in dorms.

Super comfy beds
Location was convenient and the beds were amazing. The toilets and showeres are clean and spacious. The local breakfast really puts a smile on your face. Such a good choice in Mt Lavinia.

Exceptionally clean rooms and staff exceeds expectation
The staff and owner lives in the premises and the hostel is very well-maintained. Close to the beach and restaurant hearty breakfast. I got everything I could ask for!
