We have the best location in Big Bear Lake. Right in the downtown tourist district across from the lake. With stunning lake views and you have the ski resort right on your doorstop.
Our hostel is modern, clean and relaxing with a mountain sports centered atmosphere.
The hostel is right on the main strip and easy to find.
We have a handful of private bathrooms, rather than one group dorm-style shower room.
Social and fun
There are a few common areas in the hostel, all cozy with soft couches, lots of free books and DVDs. Free Wi-Fi. A book exchange and a full kitchen with coffee, tea, and pancakes in the morning.
It gets pretty lively in the busy parts of the year, this is not a party hostel, but it has a great vibe all around -- no locals allowed inside.
No Curfew!
We do free bike rentals and free linen and organise a pub crawl for you!

The owners and staff made me feel safe as a girl travelling alone. Lots of outdoor seating. Easy to spot and conveniently located near the village.
Can't speak highly enough of Sarge who is the man. His personality grows on you. This hostel is by far the nicest I've been too. The rooms are well-kept and cosy. Lots of places to relax.
