HostelOur hostel is designed to provide you with all the basic facilities for the cheapest price in district 1, the city center. In here we try to establish a quiet and friendly atmosphere which is constantly cleaned. Our friends also live in the dorm, keeping it being watched 24/7, they are always ready in an urgent circumstance. Moreover, Calm Dorm is also highly evaluated for being located in a secured neighborhood near the police station with security cameras.
Social and fun
We have a dart area, chess, some boardgames and badminton set if you want to do some activities in the park. Beside that, in our mezzanine area we also have some English books and magazines. It would be a nice relaxing place for our guests with free tea and coffee.

Surroundings
Our hostel is conveniently located near the famous Nguyen Trai shopping street. On Nguyen Trai street, if you walk towards district 5, you will be able to discover China town with lots of popular food as well as Cho Lon market, the busiest market in Saigon.
It only takes you 15-20 minutes to go to 23/9 park and Western town, or Ben Thanh market. If you want to buy things for cheap or looking for signature street dishes of Saigon, you can go to Thai Binh market and Co.op Mart supermarket.

You get what you pay for so do not expect hotel accommodation. I like that it's near the city. It's pretty hard to locate at first and once you get the hang of it it's easy to get around.
The staff was friendly and helpful and speaks English. The beds are comfortable and cozy and it has ac which is a plus.
