This hostel was absolutely terrible. The place is dirty, wasn't really safe, even though I'm a male, no young people were sleeping there, only elder ones, some homeless people as well. Gamla Stan is a lovely place where there are plenty of nice hostels, avoid going to this one as much as possible. The staff was quiet rude as well, not helpful since I had problems to chek-in. They seemed to be very cold, which is not representative of Swedish people !
Great hostel but terrible roomates that night.
many people visibly sleep there year-round, few young people
Very well placed in the center, however the “youth” side was absent, we were two young women and we did not feel safe. The “underground” side may have its charm but was actually very oppressive: the ceiling was very low, and there were 6 of us in a very small room ... the photos on the site have nothing to do with the reality of the place
