Hostel New Ostel Florence

The provision of housing in several buildings is not what is expected of a hostel in terms of friendliness while the promise we had been made in the description. The reception is cold. The kitchen is not functional. The dining area is poorly defined and arranged. The groups that occupied the dormitories near our room were extremely noisy (noisy nights 3 consecutive nights). Unfortunately, the remoteness of the reception, that is to say, the sidewalk opposite did not allow to announce it nor that the officials of the hostel realize it.

Good location and wifi connection. Extremely wet bathrooms and guys. Piece dark, cold and girl. Common space not very usable in winter, dark and outdoors, is across the street from where you'll sleep, like the kitchen, which is for tea and store things in the refrigerator.

Convenient location, comfort suitable for the price. There was no hot water on the second day.

Inn with decor, and great outdoor amenities. On the other hand the rooms as well as the bathroom lack of facilities (shelves in bathroom, and sink clogged in the bathroom). The wifi did not work in our room ..

This hostel is ideal for short stays. It is located in a quiet area just off the main train station in Florence and is within a fifteen minute walk to the heart of the historic center. The equipment of the rooms makes it possible to keep all its possessions in security (presence of padlockable lockers). If it has a common room with TV, a terrace and a room with fridge and microwave, we regret the lack of cuisine and the lack of involvement of the staff to make real living places sociable. This one fault makes me unable to consider this hostel as a real hostel.

Staff are friendly and well behaved. This hostel is few steps walk away from piazalle montelungo. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

We stayed 2 nights, 1 friend and I, at this hostel in Florence. The first night we managed to book a private room and a dormitory the second night. The equipment and decor are very rustic but the rooms are clean. The staff is overall welcoming and accommodating. A small flat, however, on the noise in the street (the dormitory overlooking the nearby street), as well as the warm character of the common areas (terraces).

An unpretentious but suitable hostel to spend a few nights to visit the city.

We stayed two nights and we were very good. The fact that there is reception throughout the night offers a tranquility and a freedom of schedules that other establishments do not offer. The room, simple but neat, we found it cozy enough the time we have been there.

We loved our stay at this hostel. The place was very clean, comfortable and nice to stay there.

Excellent location, a stone's throw from the center. The price is good. The maintenance is to be increased a bit, but overall it was a good accommodation.

The atmosphere was amazing, it is definitely a good destination for backpackers. The hostel has a garden which was a great common area. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It is very close to the central station (about 5 min walk) and the city center (15 min walk)

The proximity to the train station and Florence downtown. Mosquito deterrents and fans were also nice.

I loved the location of this property. If you prefer to walk places over taking transport, because nothing important is over 40 mins walking away, with tons of places to stop in and look at along the way. I also liked how clean the rooms were and how helpful the staff were.

We stay in a private double bed room which located upstairs, beside the stairs is difficult for luggage traveller，the room is fine but the water supply for bath went down once. The design of the room is simple but fairly equipped , no room service is provided~ no towel supply The staff is friendly , and somehow renovation seems in place as I saw construction worker working in some room.

Nice clean hostel that is really easy to find. On the edge of the city but you can still reach everything in the city easily on foot. Good value.
