Very nice hostel, possibility to leave the luggage in a room to be able to easily enjoy Stockholm
The red boat is really to refresh ..... !! Arriving flood with impregnated hallway carpets and soaking cabin carpet too. Smell of sewage infects during our 3 days. It can happen, but we could have had a commercial gesture. Very nice living room well decorated with charm but very disappointed with the cabin. We did not see on the site that the fenestrons of 20 cm on 80 cm were in height thus no view. Naughty cabin finishes with silicone between boards and tinkering under the window. Very confined atmosphere because not much air by the fenestron ..... Fortunately the bedding is very clean and the toilets too but evacuation problems in the showers or wades. Staff very friendly and atmosphere, we can not say because with the smells, we did not stay much on the boat. The location is top! because near the neighborhood that moves in the evening and near the center to visit.
I do not recommend this hostel because I got bitten by bedbugs (and I'm not the only one) The staff didn't even apologize and didn't offer any discount. They were not really friendly. Besides, the rooms are very very small and there are not enough showers for all. So except for the location, this hostel is quite expensive and not so much worth it.
Near the tourist center, totally accessible on foot, the situation of this accommodation is perfect for a tourist. In addition, there is a great calm. And the panorama of the bridge is most pleasant. The subway is nearby for those who want to get away from the historic center. The staff are very pleasant and go out of their way to please the traveler. I highly recommend.
The rooms are narrow but very comfortable
Good original place
nice and well located. Good value for money.
Nice experience and good location
Well placed but a bit noisy
original, excellent welcome, good value for money
Very Unique
Very good address
Unusual and magical!
On the water, good view and seating for meals. Room adequate, and quiet
Common rooms were nice and cosy.
Very cool surroundings in dining room, good location next to the old town.
Lots of character, good value for money, good location
Novelty: You're sleeping in a "historical" 100 year old boat! Lovely interior with maritime and ship-related decoration. Location is OK - a 5-10 min walk to the closest metro station. Rooms are clean and comfortable (although tight, as they're boat cabins).
Staying on a ship!
All members of staff were very helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. It was a different experience because it was the first time I went to a boat hotel. I do recommend it!
very nice for 2 nights
The location ! Best view and close from everything!
The novelty factor that it's a boat is cool. There were electronic keys to access boat and hallway and a key to the room.
The Red Boat is in a great location. It's well placed to walk to fascinating Södermalm and Gamla Stan and only 5 minutes walk from the closest T-bana (Metro), providing easy access to the rest of the city. The views across the lake to the old town are spectacular. Our room was comfortable and had plenty of space. There are places to sit outside if you want to chill out overlooking the lake and tables inside where you can get food and drinks. Overall it felt much more like a quirky hotel than a hostel. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast, buffet style, is great value for money. I'd recommend this as a memorable place to stay for anyone visiting Stockholm on a budget.
The boat idea was cute and I liked be postcard and candy waiting on your pillow. Had great glögg and cookies!
The View from the room
It's a boat.... not any noticeable waves at night but some in the morning.
It is cool to stay on a boat that is also a hostel. The main city is a 10 to 40 minute walk depending upon where you want to go.
It's location to the Old Town.
Nice atmosphere and location.
Location. Also, the owner gave us a free breakfast because of the unsatisfactory conditions on the boat.

Location,cleanliness
Good atmosphere, good location, clean.
Really charming, totally clean hostel, very friendly staff. Was also able to leave big bags before check-in time which made my day!
Price and central location
The atmosphere was fantastic. We stayed in a twin bunk bed room and listened to the waves lapping against the hull every night. The decoration is wonderful and the location is great, with beautiful views, easy acces to Gamla Stan and Sodermalm.
Unusual hostel at two boats, beautiful marine interior, nice location, friendly staff, good breakfast for a reasonable price, comfortable bunk beds, bed linen free, nice greeting with a postcard and a sweet, perfect Internet connecyion. Facilities are clean and well maintained.
