Nestled in Aguacatala, outside of the hectic Parque Lleras area, in a leafy suburb of El Poblado, Medellín; Ivy Hostel is centrally located - just 5-10 min. walk from the metro and Universidad EAFIT, a large 24-hour supermarket, two major shopping malls and the main bus route on Avenida Poblado. Walking to Parque Lleras will take you through Medellín’s 'Golden Mile' which is El Poblado's thriving business hub and shopping district, as well as home to a myriad of trendy bars and eateries.

It was my first time staying in a hostel and I found it a very cool experience, very friendly staff, with spaces that encourage integration between guests. Good location, nothing to complain about safety; price and proper cleaning. I recommend them. If I go back to Medellin I would stay there again.
This hostel is pretty affordable and it comes with an amazing breakfast too! Loated in a safe residential area with access to the metro and shops. Andrew, the owner is a nice old chap.
The hostel is clean and spacious especially the lounge areas. There is a good kitchen that you can utilize, a bbq area, an a common room with big couches. There is a shopping mall, bars, restaurants near the area. Rooms are pretty clean and beds are comfortable. This is right on the money.
