Le Montclair Montmartre By River

I thought I had booked in a youth hostel but to my great surprise I was told that it was a private hotel for a year

Small downside in the 1st room where we were with the shower which did not work (barely lukewarm water trickle...) but I was allocated another room the next day, so very attentive staff.

This hostel is ideally located in the Montmartre district, a few steps from the Jules Joffrin metro station. The room makes it easy to stay with two children It is nevertheless high time to do a major cleaning and clean up, especially of the toilets.

The dormitory room is a bit old, I did not feel safe there, you have to return the key each time you go out, the staff is generally unfriendly.

Very practical family room. We just regret the mold in the bathroom !! This deserves a renovation (with ventilation). Otherwise the whole is clean! Double bed consisting of two single mattresses ... moderately comfortable. Luggage storage and common kitchen very practical! We appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the free table football and the welcome coffee / tea! Great location near metro, Montmartre and shops! Other respectful and calm hosts. (Just the noise of the street but we are in Paris !!)

Comfortable and well-equipped inn. The stay is pleasant. However, some people who stay there can be very noisy.

the hostel is good but there is no control buddies and so they can make noise when they want, the security is a little weak although there are cases

The hostel is clean, safe, has pretty rooms and the receptionists are always kind and helpful! Wonderful staying in Monmartre for a totally affordable price.

We were well received and advised during our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The hostel is close to metro Marcadet-Poissonniers, so transport in Paris is easy.

I had booked that room because it had high reviews on this site, but don’t get fooled. The common kitchen is always dirty, the plates and ustensiles are alway lying around the sink. The kitchen was so gross that we eat out since we didn’t want to use it. The only good thing was that we had a nice since room but it was lacking lockers. Also, this staff was the must rude and unfriendly. The first night, no one told us about the rules of the Hostel. So we had looked the room, and someone at reception was bagging on the door with their fist and foot so we would wake up. We we complained the next morning the girl said it was normal. So please, book somewhere else.

Very nice two day stay my kids were delighted and so did us. A good international atmosphere we met very nice people.

The rooms were small, the bathroom as well but there was a little kitchen and some tables and sofas to sit, wait, play games. The staff was really really nice and always helpful! I really recommend it for uncomplicated people wanting a cheap and nice place to sleep!

I stayed 2 nights with my little sister and it was really nice, clean, and hot. The weather was ugly, and very cold but in the hostel it was hot and the hot shower was pleasantly welcomed. Regarding accessibility, it is very easy since the Jules Joffrin metro stop 12 and 2 steps.

The best place to stay in Paris for cheap travel with self-made cooking facilities and public transport using. And you should know, that the rooms with shared toilets and shower has a way through the open inside courtyard

Clean room, friendly staff, kitchen is available to your own cooking. Located on tha backside of Monmatre. Cool straight step way to Saint-Clare as a first point your meet with Paris

we had a quadruple room. A few things to improve .... catches around the bed and in the bathroom. Insufficient auxiliary heating. Otherwise, very welcome. Nicely decorated room. Antique spiral staircase. We were delighted!

We have got a private two people room even we have booked a dorm. The staff are so nice that they tried the best to offer what they have. One key features is Tye free breakfast provided have saved me much time for dealing with the breakfast problem.

Rooms were good size and comfortable. Lounge are was very cool.
