Friendly and helpful staff. Nice homely atmosphere in shared areas. Great private room - everything you need for a comfortable and undisturbed night sleep without breaking the bank.

I was only there for 1 night. I found that it had a good atmosphere! The staff were really friendly and were more than happy to have a conversation! I liked that it had a kitchen to cook and large area to eat and couches to relax. I also liked how clean the bathrooms were.

Palmers Lodge was well located close to the train and bus station, clean, convinient, and very nice and helpful staff. Will go back and definitely recommend to others!

Good value for money and nice and close to train

My friend and I stayed for only one night but the hostel is so conveniently located and the staff as helpful that we were able to soak up as much of the city as possible. We shared a very clean, very comfortable room with some interesting people and even though the receptionist doesn't have her driver license :p she still made us feel all the more welcome. Should I ever visit Zagreb again, I will definitely return to Palmers Lodge.

Felt like a hotel rather than a hostel (private deluxe room) and staff were very helpful when wifi wasn't working and got it working immediately. Rooms were lovely and clean and I felt very much at home. There were booklets for best places to visit and dine which shaped our evening and led us to an amazing street food place which I would have never gone into for fear of being above my budget !

Very close to train station and also at walk-able distance to bus station. Staff were friendly and gave good advice on sights in the city as well as travel to Plitvice.

The location was really good. a 5 minute lazy walk to the station, and to the main square and supermarket. The people were nice, the kitchen was good. the beds were comfortable, showers were good.

Really nice hostel: loads of great facilities with really friendly staff who's always willing to help you. I loved their energy! I just stay a night but it was really simple to know and share experiences with them and other travellers. The hostel is in a brilliant location, close to the bus/train station and the city center. The room was very nice, clean as well as the bathroom. I definitely recommend the hostel to anybody!!!

The staff were so friendly and helpful as we were only staying one night and needed to get things done before carrying on our travels, ie: shipping things home, laundry etc.

Close to the bus station and city center.

Very close to the train station and only a short walk away from most attractions so location is brilliant! The rooms were tidy and clean and if you wanted the air con on all you had to do was ask and they would do it for you. Staff were very helpful when we asked about good places to go and see not just in Zagreb but in the rest of Croatia. Also nice to have a kitchen to use! Overall a good stay.

Close to central traun station and bus station, not too far from centre if walking or there is a tram stop outside the hostel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities, full kitchen, computers, wifi.
