Safestay Edinburgh Cowgate housed in a beautiful and spacious Grade A listed building, located on one of the oldest thoroughfares in the Scottish capital. Cowgate – literally used as the route for driving cattle to market from as early as the 1490s – is now well known for its lively pub, club, bar, restaurant and cafe scene.
Safestay Edinburgh Cowgate is within walking distance of Edinburgh’s most popular attractions and sites including a 2 minute walk to the Royal Mile and 10 minutes to Edinburgh Castle.

Our private twin & double have towels included. For the shared dorms, you can bring your own, rent or buy a towel from reception.

Super location, in the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff, top suitcase storage service. The room was big enough for 5 people.
Location is excellent. Luggage storage. Individual lamps in bed. Quiet at night.
Location and facilities
It's right in the city centre, there are huge lockers in each room.
Lots of windows and ventilation in the room and surrounding corridors. Nice central location but not very noisy.
