About the place
HostelTy Glyndwr is a fun, fresh & eclectic hostel within a Grade II listed building just meters from the UNESCO designated Caernarfon Castle. The hostel provides guests with a relaxed & friendly welcome, very comfortable accommodation, great coffee, breakfast included & our fantastic bar hosts regular live music.
Social and fun
Our basement bar is full of character and atmosphere, has a great selection of local and international drinks and regularly hosts acoustic bands and singers. It is open from 12 noon until 2 a.m. daily.Breakfast is included in the hostel bed price. We provide a cold, continental breakfast and brista-made great coffee.
Dogs can be accommodated only when an entire room is booking for private use, a fee of £10 per dog per night will be charged in addition to standard room / bed rates.

Surroundings
Our hostel is located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park in the old walled town of Caernarfon and just metres from C13th castle and the beautiful Menai Strait.
We are centrally located for day trips to the beaches of anglesey or the LLeyn Peninsula and the mountains of the National Park, Llanberis, the village at the foot of Snowdon is just a 10 minute drive.

The hostel building was extensively refurbished both inside and out in 2017. The Victorian elegance of this Grade II listed property has been retained throughout while also creating modern, clean and fresh accomodation.

I definitely recommend this place if you want to discover a lovely Welsh town and Snowdonia. There is a bar below the hostel which serves the best selection of Welsh craft beer. Beds are super comfortable and the hostel is clean.
They have the most amazing coffee, hot chocolate, and walnut cake. They serve the best breakfast perfect to start your day and the location is also great, just next to Caernarfon's castle!
