The Melkweg is an old brick warehouse which has been converted into a cultural center which not only features many rock and pop concerts but also photo exhibits, film screenings, dance performances, and all kinds of cultural activities. Big names as well as local groups perform here, making it popular attraction for youth. You can ask the receptionist at your youth hostel which bands will be playing.
