ClinkNOORD Hostel

Warm welcome, generous breakfast, and a private room for our group of four: grandparents and teenage grandchildren. Very well located, quiet and easy to reach the city center.

Very complete hostel but the showers are not practical without showerheads.

Hostel well located in the north of Amsterdam, close to the free ferry to the central station and the city center, ideal for sightseeing in Amsterdam but also traveling in the rest of the Netherlands. Accessible by a staircase, there is only one elevator inside for the different floors and several other stairs. The place is clean and well equipped. We had booked a room for 4, between friends, with private bathroom and toilet, and were ideally placed on the ground floor. These rooms are secured by a four-digit code specific to each traveler, and are very well soundproofed inside and out. Large secure lockers available in the room (bring your own padlock). Very good atmosphere between travelers. Qualified, kind and helpful staff, some of whom speak French. LGBTQIA+ friendly hostel. Possibility to play ping-pong (1 table, bring your own rackets better than the plastic ones of the hostel which have no plate) and table football (3 places) for free, which is ideal for meeting other travelers of all nationalities. Good continental breakfast with pancake machine. Free water dispenser. Decent canteen food (for the evening). Several free activities offered to socialize each evening at the bar (karaoke, beer pong, board games, mixology workshop, table football tournament, etc.) Too bad that some other activities are paid (billiards, arcade game). Possibility to rent bikes on site (limited number) or from a partner for around twenty euros per day. I highly recommend this hostel!

Very well located, easy to access. Advice to do the pre-registration in comfortable conditions at home only upon arrival on a tablet, standing, ... and to have a mobile phone in good working order to receive the code of the room or to activate a left-luggage locker (if arriving too early). It's a little less human.

Very good hostel

Great hostel very well placed. The rooms are a bit small but ok, separate toilet and bath, clean and in good condition. friendly staff, every night an activity at Zinc bar. Constantly good music. in the hostel. Wide choice at breakfast. Only downside Grolsh beer and coffee are not terrible but everything else on top!

Clean and additional information at the reception effective

The employees are suuuper nice and speak several languages. The places are very clean, the rooms are cleaned every day. The beds are rather comfortable with small individual tablet + mini lamp + electrical socket above the head. Lockers are great, just bring your own padlock (can be purchased at the front desk). It feels completely safe. A lot of room in the common areas, to be in a group or even get quiet in a corner. A lot of choice for breakfast in the morning, including hot (sausages ...) in addition to the classic bread-jam-cornflakes, ham, cheese etc, there is something for everyone, in my opinion it's worth the to take it (to pay extra). The location is nickel. Amsterdam is a small town, it is very fast in the center (at the same time not 10 minutes) and the crossing by ferry to reach the station is rather nice, and very short. Ferries are frequent, no problem on this side. I put a note a little lower for the atmosphere: bar is lively but I enjoyed the music thoroughly in the morning and compared to other hostels where I was able to stay, I had bad to socialize me. But it's almost a detail. The rooms are perfectly soundproof, no problem on that side, you will not hear anything from the bar!

I felt safe in this hostel. The staff went out their way to guide me. The dorms are big and it easy to meet other backpackers.

This hostel in Amsterdam is one of my favorite. Close to water, nice bar and restaurant. Very good breakfast. Cool design.
