La Palapa Hostel offers a tropical lodge experience without the tropical lodge price tag and we did it in the center of a unique town, Puerto Jimenez, not miles from nowhere. You can actually walk everywhere. Our accommodations are for people looking for an authentic, tropical experience. We strive to maintain both a healthy level of cleanliness & comfort in this crazy wild spot between the primeval Osa forest of Corcovado & the abundant tropical waters of the "Golfo Dulce" & Pacific ocean.

Could be improved

The place needs some major overhaul. The location was great but they need to improve on the cleanliness of the building. With some TLC the hostel has some great potential.

The location was close to the airport. The kitchen have all the essential utensils so that was good for me. The place was good but could be improved.
