Milano Hostel

I found the atmosphere very welcoming and organized: vending machines, drinks, snacks, and an all-you-can-eat kitchen. The check-in was efficient and organized, thanks to the 24-hour access. However, I can only point out that I came away with a widespread rash (on exposed areas) caused by fleas and ticks from the bed. A good place to stay for cheap. AC, WiFi, and rooms to chill in. Beds are a a bit short and night can get a bit noisy. Overall 8/10 considering the price.

Nice place, there is all the necessity equipment: towels, bathroom, little kitchen... but don't expert too much.

I have mixed reviews about this hostel. Located in a residential area accessible by transport and with a few kebabs and local shops around. 20 min walk from Milan central station and 13 min by metro (40 min walk) from the city center (duomo). Rather quiet area. Regarding security in the evening, I returned at 11:00 p.m. maximum, so it was rather quiet. Kind and attentive staff. The rooms were good but with a few flaws: creaking beds, bathroom door that doesn't close and the window that doesn't open to ventilate the room. There was air conditioning but you had to ask the staff each time to turn it on and it was for a fixed period (2h - 3h...). In the evening the air conditioning turns off automatically at 1am. In the middle of August, in a room for 6 people with a closed window, it was not easy to find sleep easily. In addition, there was a large kitchen and a common room equipped with the necessary. Attention, if you are like me breakfast is a selection criterion, know that there is no breakfast offered by the hostel even if it appears in the ad. It was disappointing!

It was a very pleasant experience. Value for money!
