The hotel’s standalone restaurant, Simon & The Whale, is led by restaurateur Gabriel Stulman’s Happy Cooking Hospitality, known for their family of West Village restaurants including Joseph Leonard, Jeffrey’s Grocery, Fedora, Fairfax and Bar Sardine. Sydell Group and Stulman have also collaborated on the second floor’s all-day restaurant and café, Studio, as well as The George Washington Bar, an inspired cocktail bar with laidback vibes. The Broken Shaker bar will be occupying the Rooftop.

Reception very complicated and confused between the amount of your site and the one requested.

When we arrive, the receptionist charges us a much higher amount than the one booked on your site. We dispute. The receptionist and the manager say they do not know you and have not received a deposit for this reservation and that the prices you offer are fanciful and do not match their reality. So the balance does not correspond at all to the reservation. However, they have 2 reservations in our name but no deposit. For us the story is not very understandable and we are suspicious, because in the end we are left with a plus to pay € 570. We told ourselves: it's a scam, and for a beginning of stay it does not put us in confidence. But what to do ? It was 9pm and we were accompanied by 4 children exhausted by the trip, at least we still had a roof. Today, we are still in doubt, because between the down payment, the deposit and the final payment, it remains confused, and that deserves explanation. Wonderful

Staff - very friendly and helpful. Property - looks great, fun. Food - good. Location - close to subway, and walking distance to sites. Room - clean, cozy. Rooftop bar - awesome! I'll be coming back soon.

Cool

Spacious enough room, and nice. Cool environment - very artsy. Great bar and restaurant. I'd give a 11/10 for the value.
