La Fabrica Urban Hostel

Two days after arriving at the hostel, I wake up full of bites due to bed bugs. They change my room and do the disinfestation. I wonder why the disinfestation was not done before offering me to settle on that bed, since another guest - only two days before - had already been pinched and had personally seen several bugs on his bed (and was therefore placed in another dormitory). Despite having every reason to be angry at the inconvenience, I was understanding and polite with the managers of the facility. However, they did not return my courtesy in the following days, due to a misunderstanding regarding the dates of my stay, a chaotic, embarrassing and quite rude discussion arose on their part. This is why I am leaving this negative feedback. Although La Fabrica is, after all, an interesting reality, I am sure that if you pass through Las Palmas you will find accommodations that are extremely welcoming, fun and stimulating.

You can really get a decent sleep in this hostel as it is not a party one. However if you are looking for one there are bars nearby and the beach is about 10mins away. You will see the staff cleaning regularly making sure the place is spotless without the strong chemical smell. Amazing showers and there are plenty of toilets and baths to use. the kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are equipped with personal sockets, own light and locker. The memory foam was really a plus

This hostel is really organized from reception to the cleaners. I love that they value the privacy of guests making sure that each one is provided with the necessities and its reallly clean not exagerating here. The staff are very attentive to the guests and really enforce quiet hours. This is a very good option for Las Palmas.
