Smart Sea View Brighton Hostel

Good value for money

For the price it was, it was not great. The beds were not made, there was no socket near the beds, the door to the room did not close well, the hostel was a 30 minute walk from Brighton and the breakfast was mediocre.

If you want to stay at this hostel, stay here if you really have no choice. The only advantages are in effect the derisory price of the night (between 15 and 20 pounds per night) and its proximity to the beach. The rooms stink with humidity, the bathrooms are not clean, there is not even a shower mat. There is wifi in some areas of the hotel. With my friend we were in a room of 16 and there were only 2 sockets and 4 lockers ..... To cook, there is an obligation to leave a deposit of 10 pounds to use the various utensils, even plates.

Admittedly the price per night is very interesting but the interior is crumbling, level of cleanliness is frankly average and the atmosphere was cold and gloomy

well located hostel close to the waterfront and the center. cleanliness to see again, the toilet had not been cleaned before our arrival, and the previous occupants were apparently not snipers ... the duvet covers are not changed between room occupations, we should give 2 drapas / person, 1 for the mattress and 1 to put under the duvet. basic breakfast, toast and cereals.

The beds were wobbly and not enough outlets. But the view was good, right on the beach and half an hour walk from the pier. The breakfast was toast, cereal and coffee/tea, which was nice. Lots of stairs.

location,clean sheets,staff, good washroom hidden in the basement with all the bathroom supplies provided. Wonderful use of an old building for accomdation.
