First youth hostel experience for me, just incredible. Clean hostel, pleasant staff, ideal location, great value for money!

Fine for a cheap stay. The property and facilities are aged but the staff were friendly and helpful.

First time I went to a hostel (being a single woman) and felt safe. Beyond the bedroom, there is a pretty nice collective kitchen with a terrace. The cleaning is done every day so it's clean, I was able to meet quite nice people from abroad. The hostel is ideally located, not far from the most touristic places in Nice.

We stayed one night at the Auberge Pastoral. The reception is very correct and the location of the hostel is perfect, very close to the train station, transport and a few minutes walk from the city center. We had a private room, very clean.

but for the price everyone slept well and it was perfect.

The hostel is well placed, we were two girls and had booked the large dormitory and the manager moved us to a small dormitory at no additional cost when he saw that there were only men in the large one. This attention touched us a lot. The bathrooms and bedrooms were cleaned every day, sheets and towels were provided (even if they were not necessarily in perfect condition) The kitchen was practical and user-friendly

It's not the "official" hostel but a very simple small hotel (although on the official hostel website), old but clean, with kitchen and terrace for everyone. There is no one to advise the city and the activities (as announced by email before arrival).

With a warm welcome and pleasant common areas that invite people to meet, you quickly feel at home. And for a professional stay, it is easy to work thanks to a good internet connection! surprised by the associations in dormitories of 4: we are 2 men (55 years old) associated with 2 young girls of 18 years old with showers and toilets in the room some people do not respect the rules: theft of orange juice and yoghurts from the common fridge

We stayed 4 nights at the Auberge Pastorale in August to discover Nice and its surroundings. When we arrived, we discovered that in the end the towels were not included contrary to what the reservation indicated. The cleaning in the bathroom and the dormitory is not done. Only the trash is emptied every day.

The room was fine, the beds OK, the shower clean. The only problem we encountered was the fact that the site + the confirmation email announced that the towels were included, but the man at the reception refused to give them to us for free. We showed him the site and the email, he didn't want to hear anything. As we thought it was included, we didn't take any with us.

Arrived at the hostel in the middle of the afternoon, I was wary of the wolf when I saw that my bed was unmade. However, there was no business around so I took a little shower, put my things in my locker and went out with my friends. Back at two in the morning, the bed was occupied by a very charming woman, unfortunately she had her boyfriend sleeping in the bed next to it. The room was full of course. I tried to see the keeper who was two tight, who limply looked for a free place (he looked in another room), told me that he did not understand why there was someone there. in my place. Obviously, the reservations being taken on an A4 sheet of print, that does not surprise me too much. After going to the bag pack on the next street to find an emergency room and falling out with a hash smoker in the same building, I asked for the refund and found myself on the street at three in the morning. '. Fortunately my friends had rented a BnB tune in which I slept on a low table (obviously, I was not really expected). In the end, the anecdote could be funny but incompetence is a lot less funny when you are a victim. Unfortunately these sleep sellers will always get away with it.

Neglected

A very nice terrace to have breakfast or stay during the daytime. The location is very very good - so close to the central street and not far from the seaside. Breakfast is included into the price which is nice.

This hostel provided me with a few good nights of accommodation. There is a really nice rooftop patio, a decent kitchen, decent beds with free lockers and lots of space in the room, and it's very close to the train station. Only about 20 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to nightlife.

Really fun atmosphere, but that could have been because the people here at the time. Nice kitchen and average breakfast. Everything was pretty clean and rooms were spacious with tables and fridges (no microwaves though- not a big deal. Cute little outdoor space.

Really close to the train station and tram stop. Not close to the beach but just 10min walking distance... Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, good bed, shower inside the bedroom, hot water. Elevator working.

Great location, right next to the station and a short walk down to the beach. There was a good atmosphere here with the other travelers and it was easy to meet people. The showers were new and the best I've had in a hostel. Having a fridge in the room was also a plus. It felt very safe and secure.

Great common area and outdoor terrace to meet people. The owner is also so helpful and nice! The rooms are clean and basic, everything you want from a hostel. Location is also great right near main shopping strip and shot walk from beach.

They are easy to find is not far from the city centre that actually is quite good. I recommend. I just didn't like the breakfast too much.
