Hostel
‘Vasudevai kutumb kamb’ is the Sanskrit for the word community.
Hearth Hostel is a newly opened restored community space for soul travellers to stay, meet and share their stories with the traveling community. The space is designed with amenities to make your stay comfortable. We have daily community events like film screenings, BBQ evenings, heritage walks and art / photo / design exhibitions brings you closer to the local life of Ladakh.
Social and fun
We have weekly screenings of good art and documentary films in our Audio Visual room. These films are picked from a collection of rare good cinema ever produced and some documentaries on Ladakh, the Himalayan ecosystems and indigenous communities.

Friendly and kind staff, good location, comfortable bed, clean.. Nothing special, but does the work. If you know what I mean.
stayed for a night. rooms and beds were comfy enough. price is right. working showers. basic needs met, all good.
