Hostel
We are a quick drive (under 60 kilometres) away from the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest home of the Mountain Gorillas.
We make daily trips for gorilla trekking and mountaineering.
We welcome you into our affordable, clean and safe home right in the centre of Kabale. We offer everything a weary traveler needs including excellent home cooked meals, and have the fastest WiFi out of any of the hotels in town. 10% of our revenue goes to the Rumbugu Primary School helping disadvantaged children.

Kabale Backpackers is a simple but nice hostel. Located just off the main road behind the DCFU bank, it has a quiet location but you can easily walk to the bus station in max 10 minutes. My room had its own ensuite bathroom with shower. The owner Lilian is super friendly when I arrived without having booked anything and no idea about how I could get around Uganda, she sat down with me in front of the big map of Uganda painted in the common room and helped me plan it all. Thank you so much!
