Difficult, Good location, Small bed, Noisy people

Good points : - Good location quite close to the center and the train station - Impeccable cleanliness from what I saw - Bath towels at €1.75 - Integrated kitchen Negative points : - Lack of staff (I waited 20 minutes upon arrival to ask for a towel) - The USB charging ports do not work - Everything seemed small to me: the bed, the shower, I bumped everywhere even though I'm only 1.83 meters tall - Billiards at €5 per game and breakfast at €9 (for the same price there is a supermarket nearby which will last you the day) - Entire classes of children who were making noise even after 10 p.m. and shouting in the corridors - A strange roommate who made me feel uncomfortable (I can't imagine being a woman then...) - The prices are much too expensive for what is given (100€ per night on weekends?) Fortunately I was lucky with the prices for the dormitory - The bath towel had a very strong and strange smell - No integrated parking unfortunately - Entrance hall always cluttered and tables filled with groups of gigantic children’s classes

Disappointed by this stay

This hostel promises free laundry but it is unusable (broken but no one tells us), the USB ports next to the beds do not work so you have to share the sockets in the rooms and toilets to charge your phone. In addition, the reception staff are overwhelmed and you sometimes have to wait more than 30 minutes just to ask a question. Also, I had reserved a room for women only and when I returned on the 2nd evening, there was a man installed in the room….

Good stay overall

A bit far from the city center of Salzburg but right next to the train station. Comfortable room, good breakfast but the whole lacks a bit of human warmth.
