Set amidst a rocky Alpine landscape, this historic mountain hotel is located at 2,165 metres above sea level on the Grimsel Pass. In 1142, the Grimsel Hospiz was the first guesthouse in Switzerland mentioned in documents.

Children up to and including 15 years old stay for CHF 50 per person per night when using an available extra bed. People 16 years old and over stay for CHF 95 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.
Please note that the hotel is entirely non-smoking. Please note that from the end of December until the beginning of April, the hotel can only be reached by 2 cable cars and 1 tunnel train. The rate for using these means of guided transport is CHF 74 per person and is not included in the room rate. The cable car operates from Innertkirchen between 11:00 and 13:00. Great old mountain hotel, nicely renovated. You feel a little bit like at the times when tourism started.
We enjoyed the great location, the unique historic building .,the very helpful staff , the beautiful atmosphere and decoration . The food was excellent Our dog was very welcome
Location is more than fantastic with a variety of options what to do outdoors.
