Dating back to 1640, this 9th generation family-run hotel is Norway’s oldest. The hotel is surrounded by a romantic garden in the idyllic village of Svolvorn. It offers elegant rooms and beautiful views of Lustrafjord and its mountains.

Children are not allowed. Adults stay for NOK 850 per person per night when using an available extra bed. No cots are available. Wonderful old hotel, beautiful location on fjord across from the Urnes stave church. Choose the old part of the hotel.
the room was like going to visit my grandmother. so quaint and cozy, like going back in time to a more peaceful era. The view of the fjord was spectacular from out window.
The hotel was full of charm. The staff were friendly and the grounds were beautiful. I would not change a thing and can't wait to go back.
