Arc de Triomphe, Parc Monceau
Arty is also near the 'Versailles gate' exhibition park where all the important trade shows and commercial fairs take place, as well as Montparnasse with its many theatres on Gaité Street.
It has a good structure, but I really missed a kitchen or at least a microwave :(
The bathroom wasn't so good too, I couldn't find the light switch to take a shower and I took it in the dark :(((
The check in process is very slow and there's no security for store luggage
The breakfast wasn't so good
The facilities were beautiful. However, the bathrooms were few and you always had to wait to enter. The showers were not always able to be used, one of them did not close. What I did not like was that some guests do not respect the rules and make noise when we are already asleep. Twice some people arrived making noise as if it were day, but it was 3 in the morning. In other places I have been there is a control by the staff and these problems do not arise.
The first thing that surprised us was that the technical room serves as a luggage room. Not monitored. Then we slept in room 3, the door made a loud noise. We were also surprised that the rooms were not ventilated during the day. We were also disappointed by the very small toilet on the ground floor. The men's toilets are larger but do not have locks. There was nothing to wash your hands properly. Given the average age of the people we stayed with, I will not be back until I turned 25 years old. I will say that the main entrance to the hostel was never closed. However the breakfast we liked very much, the situation of the hostel is perfect. The staff seemed very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast not great choice and a lot of noise in the courtyard at night.
Nice hostel but not functional. 15-bed dorms with one key for all the dormitory ^^ the sinks are in the room, no socket near the beds, only on the floor and ladder not practical to get into the bed of the 3rd floor. The toilet and shower were clean however and close to the rooms and the breakfast was cool. The welcoming staff also. So a nice hostel if you consider it's Paris, just a shame for the practical side.
Insecurity. A person was able to open the bedroom door in the middle of the night. Fortunately, she did not return.
Well located in the 15th, an inn with a soul and in which one feels good.
The welcome is warm and we have everything you need.
Clean hostel, very friendly welcome, warm reception lounge, narrow but clean sanitary, carefree hot water. Excellent stay.
The hostel is not ideally located in Paris, of course, but it is not too far from the center in transport without problem. The prices are ok and the quality of the rooms too. The staff very friendly and helpful.
Excellent site, I totally recommend it
The 1st historical hostel of Paris, private parisian mansion house of the 18th century, offered by the Emperor Napoleon to the actress Mlle Mars, managed by the 1st non profit youth hostelling organisation in Paris, to get a cheap bed with simple and basic facilities on an amazing location, just between the vibrant shopping district of the National Opera House and Montmartre with Sacré-Coeur, Pigalle and Moulin Rouge a street closer to the hostel.
Located in the heart of Paris, a short walk from Square Ernest Gouin.
We are a 100 meters from Brochant metro station and Porte de Clichy Metro Station
5 km from the center of Paris.
Situated 1.5 km from Parc Monceau.
Within walking distance of Montmartre and the famous Sacre Coeur Basilica.
Le Bourget airport is 15 km away.
A large supermarket is nearby.
The door of the room closed very badly, and with great noise, difficult to close it behind you at each entry / exit, we slept with the door of the room open! Only one key per room: this system is in any case dilapidated and hardly functional for dormitories. No space in the room to lock our things. Room poorly heated, it was cold. The hostel only provides a blanket (no down), which is not enough in winter in their poorly heated rooms. The towels are not loaned, they are on sale only (5 € for a small towel), and worse, there is no soap, neither in the showers, nor on the sinks. The welcome is friendly, but it does not compensate for the under-equipment and the lack of heating in the hostel ...
I arrived at the hostel on Tuesday at 10:30 pm to leave on Wednesday at 5:30 am, personalized and very pleasant welcome by the young woman at the counter. Everything is fine! Cleanliness, home, setting and comfort of the bed ... Small flats: No CB, lack bulb on the second floor, and slightly noisy when there is a group of teenagers ...
Friendly and helpful staff
The hostel is in a very charming neighborhood (9th arrondissement). Perfect place for those who want to see beautiful buildings (Moulin Rouge, Garnier Palace, St. Trinity ....). As soon as you enter the building, you are charmed by the "royal" decoration of the hall. The outdoor courtyard has nothing to envy the hall since it also has its charm with its wall decorations. A delicious breakfast, no frills and enough proposal to please everyone. As for the rooms, they are fun. personally, I did not feel crowded with other people; but it may displease those who are used to large rooms. In addition, the number of shots is really limited. I just have a little problem with the toilet I found too small (it's my claustrophobic side talking) and the fact that there is no locker for our things.
Woodstock is located 5 mnutes away from Sacre Coeur Montmartre
Very convenient to walk to the Opera, Louvre
Gare du Nord 10 mins by walk
Metro Anvers 3 mins by walk

A perfect hostel for travelers or even for people just passing through or like me, a tourist who wanted to visit Paris absolutely !!
- Cold welcome, not even a smile
- Incessant beeping in the room
- All night long music from I don't know where ... impossible to close my eyes.
- No shutters so we sleep under the light of the lampposts.
- scratching after sleeping in the sheets.
Otherwise the hostel is well located ... and the toilets are superbly clean! Nothing to say about it.
nice hostel, friendly staff
a shame because the hostel is very well located but really too noisy especially when you occupy a room on the 1st floor (slamming doors of rooms, toilets, shower ... sound of footsteps on the wooden stairs, squeaking chairs in the morning at breakfast ...). it would be enough to put felt under the feet of the chairs, carpet on the stairs and placards on the stairs and on the bearing recall reminding people that they should not make noise from a certain time.
A small note on the narrowness of the showers but overall, good value for money.
The situation is good, just 15 minutes from the Gare du Nord. Breakfast, acceptable although it has no fruit. The friendliness of the reception staff should be improved
Good bedding, little noise, we enjoyed the breakfast. We regret a not very warm welcome .. and everything is not very clean
The staff is very welcoming and very open. The location of the hotel offers the occupants multiple activities and discoveries. Very satisfactory place both cleanliness level and equipment.
Hostel very well placed and with a price within the reach of all. A warm and simple welcome. I will return for my stays in Paris.
Between the Jardin des Plantes, the National Museum of Natural History, the Panthéon, the famous Sorbonne and the Jardin du Luxembourg.
Go to the Île Saint-Louis to eat the best ice cream of Paris and to the Île de la Cité to see the Cathedral Notre-Dame.

Musée du Quai Branly.
Latin Quarter, St Germain des Prés district
Sainte Chapelle, Conciergerie, Musée du Louvre, Musée d’Orsay,
The FIAP Hostel is in one of the best locations. It is a short walk to both the 6 and the 4 metro lines. The staff are very accommodating and allow you to store your bags pre/post check in/out. There is a lot of natural light and the coffee in their little bar area is fantastic. The only problem I had was that the hair dryer didn't work and the outlet in the bathroom was busted, which is only a minor inconvenience and didn't deteriorate my experience. I intend on returning.
Extremely accessible (right next to OrlyBus, and the RER to Charles de Gaulle (aka "Chuck D"). Room was exceptionally clean. No TV, no street noise. Doors have to be slammed to close, so there is a bit of banging in the halls at night.
Security is top notch. Desk is friendly enough. Wifi works, but don't expect to stream videos or anything without paying for the fast wifi.
Drawback: nothing is accessible for the differently-abled. Stairs abound, no elevators
