There is no hostel in Catania more centrally located than the Ostello Degli Elefanti. You can easily visit the magnificent buildings of the UNESCO protected old city and its historical markets on foot.
Our hostel is located in a 17th Century palace, one of the oldest in town. The stunning ceiling frescoes are famous throughout Catania.
Enjoy the luxurious surroundings created for a noble family centuries ago.
Not only is the hostel between two of the most important squares in Catania, but it is also close to exceptional food experiences, bars and Catania's thriving nightlife.
Our rooftop bar has a breathtaking view over the old city and Mount Etna.

Our central location is the best position to explore the palaces, cathedrals, churches, the Greco-Roman Amphitheatre, and gladiatorial arena.
A nearby airport, connected by rail, bus and even the port, Catania is so much more than a transit point.

The Hostel of the Elephants is in the centre of the historic city of Catania. The whole of the area we are in is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Everywhere you look, you are surrounded by beauty, history and wonders.
The city's principal cathedral is next door.
