HI Hostel Zagreb is the very first hostel in Zagreb (since 1963) and the biggest one in the center (215 beds). For more than 50 years HI Hostel Zagreb offers affordable, clean and comfortable accommodation for travelers from all around the world.
Backpackers, families, groups, students, school groups, sport clubs are all welcome to HI Hostel Zagreb.

HI Hostel Zagreb, previously known as Youth Hostel Zagreb is located in the very centre of the city, in Petrinjska Street (No 77). The main city square can be reached in a short walk (500 m), the Main Train Station is just 150 m away, while the Main Bus Station is 900 m away.

It is much too hot in the rooms, no air conditioning, a simple fan which does not quite do the trick… The staff is 50/50 nice/naughty… to see the team of this hostel again There are not enough crockery, space to eat, a simple vending machine that works halfway... Some bedroom doors don't even close, how can you sleep well anyway??
