Hostel

Malu Hostel Design is a space filled with good vibes and our aim is to make you feel at home when you visit us.
Our hostel has a full capacity of 16 people, being each room for 8 people and both very spacious and decorated with relaxing colors, where you can enjoy our delightful sun's light, with sea view. In each room there are drawers, bedsits, comfortable duvet and pillows and a towel is also provided.
We are outgoing people that love to socialize and share experiences, so you are more than welcome to sit in the lobby to chat, to read a book, to watch the sunset, and eventually, join us for a glass of wine in our outside bar overlooking the dunes.

Surroundings

We are located at Furadouro, an Atlantic beach drawing surfer to their rolling waves and is backed by a dune system that you can cross by a boardwalk and carries on for kilometres. This beach belongs to Ovar which is a city in the Center region, where the traditional Portuguese tile has pride of place, coating the walls of churches, chapels, and homes. Great alternative to big getaways and cities!
The Aveiro Lagoon is also close, and has 45km long from Ovar to Mira, home of many bird species and a paradise for fishermen.
This is both a precious natural reserve and somewhere to go sailing, stand-up paddle-boarding or kayaking. We can help you arrange your trip or/and provide a guide tour for any visiting places around us.
