Public transportation is easily accessable in this city. There is a train station (Palermo Centrale) which is also located right by the major bus station. There are local bus' run by AMAT. It's very simple to travel on public transportation. For those who want a car rental option, Sicily by Car and other rental companies will be able to take care of you. It is also very easy to rent bikes as well.

We waited a good 15 minutes for the door to finally open to us. The front desk person was nice but didn't really explain things to us. We looked for breakfast in the kitchen, we found nothing except an old package of sandwich bread. The kitchen utensils are damaged and very few (no fork already!). The hostel is very quiet, there were very few people when we were there, and quite clean, but there is almost never anyone who comes by or who is available for a need or a question.
