This hostel is set in what once was an old brewery and boasts a carbon netural footprint in its operations. The central location means all the major tourist attractions are close by and easily accessible via public transport. While you stay here, be sure to check out the Grote Markt and Manneken Pis.
Very clean and friendly hostel. Well located in relation to the center.
Hostel very well, warm welcome. The rooms and common areas are clean. The price is very reasonable since the hostel is located 3km from the city center and is close to the train station (1km I think). In addition, the toilet and the bathroom are in the room. Personally I did not use the common areas but there are toys for children, arcade games, bar etc. which can be nice at night. Now if people who come to a hostel could learn to live in community and respect others would be great.
we use youth hostels regularly and this is particularly recommended. Warm welcome, friendly staff, very good location in the city center, private parking (if you're lucky, very few places, 13 €) We had a private room air-conditioned and clean, quiet. The breakfast is very correct. To recommend.
The staff is welcoming and attentive. The rooms are spacious and functional. The kitchen area is very nice. The fittings - bar, terraces - are very nice for breakfast or coffee. Organic breakfast and local produce: what more?
When we arrived we had a problem with the administration and we were at least an hour and a half waiting to be given our room. Less that we were very comfortable, the mattress was very old and we changed it.
The greenest youth hostel in Brussels borders onto the Soignes forest and the city centre
is 15 minutes away with the subway (plus 10 minutes walking or 3 minutes by bus from the metro station).
Welcome, well appointed room, very good breakfast. Perfect hostel for a few days in Brussels
The hostel is new, which is very nice However we had trouble finding the entrance Otherwise very good
A very well run hostel, very nice staff, clean and functional rooms; rich breakfast, possibility to dine on the spot. To recommend
Very good place to spend a few days. Very well located and quiet. The breakfast is quite complete. Value for money: 9. We had a bit of proliferation with the rooms, which we could solve by mail. Although we had reserved two family rooms through your website, by email they tell you that it could not be. but in sho they corrected correctly, because they saved us a family room, and the two men and the boy went in a shared room. The person receiving the first day at dusk, when we arrived, fantastic. On the contrary, on the day we left, the person who attended us was not upset and made us waste a lot of time for nothing, since I had everything I had paid before arriving at the hostel.
The hostel is good, clean, quiet, but quite out of the way. Also, at the reception I was not told that it was necessary to leave the electronic card at the entrance to turn on the lighting system, so I had a little trouble. For the rest, it's fine.
Located in the heart of the chocolate area we are lucky to have the Godiva factory and it’s outlet store as our neighbourgs as well as the Belgian Chocolate Village (a chocolate museum) and the chocolatier Frédéric Blondeel. Another must see of the area is the Elizabeth Parc and the Basilica of Koekelberg.
WELL CONNECTED - only 2 minutes away from the Simonis/Elizabeth station :
Subway : line 2 and 6
Bus : 13, 20, 212, 213, 214, 355
Tram : 9 and 19
The area is very calm and green with a beautiful architecture. Only 100m away from Schaerbeek station and 15 minutes away from Gare du Midi. Close to the city center, just 10-15 minutes by tram or train.
Easy access to the most tourist attractions, direct tram either to the Atomium, mini Europe or amazing park du Cinquantenaire...
There's a big park (Josaphat Park) for runners at only 10 minutes walk. Docks shopping area and small night shops at only 5 minutes walk.
Courteous and available staff. Well heated and clean room.
For a weekend with friends passing through Brussels it was great! The atmosphere is great, no fuss, the staff is cool, the people are cool, the breakfast is included and the location is super convenient, for this price what more?
Close to public transport and very welcoming.
Hot water problem in showers and washbasin
The mattresses are not very comfortable and the beds make noise because metal beds in height
very welcome, it's clean, the staff is smiling. The hostel is not very far from the city center, easy access to the metro / tram.Attention however for non Belgian or Dutch nationals, the hostel is in zone low emission if you come by car ... so you must register beforehand on the site of the city of Brussels (the fine is very salty otherwise: 150 euros ...
Superb hostel, very well served by different transport with a warm welcome
Good atypical hotel with a friendly staff and listening to your needs.
Hello, Both good and bad experience: stained sheets, dirty walls, bed fleas (that was horrible), a pack of crisps between the mattress and the bed frame ... Despite this, the welcome has Was very good, very nice staff, very good breakfast, nice places. The hostel is a bit far from the center.
A great welcome, a friendly and original space, we can not ask for better. I had a very good stay, I will come back with great pleasure to this hostel.
closed to all amenities, 5 minutes from eu commission, 5 minutes walk from the comicstrip museum, 10 minutes from the Kings palace etc etc
