Good welcome. Disappointing lunch.

Friendly staff comfortable bedroom Value for money breakfast to review

Very noisy (noise from the street and residents). Despite the request the day before, there was no more space in the luggage room and we had to keep our suitcases during the day of visits.

The hostel is located in the hypercentre and is cheap (it depends on the days and the shopping site), there are no shelves and coat racks in the room. The bed itself is comfortable and curtains allow for privacy.

absolutely not a hostel and we are still waiting for the reimbursement of the breakfast which we did not take because the experience of the first one was just horrible: 7 € for rusks in plastic and a coffee machine and a noisy torrent of American

Very nice staff, room with all the necessary! Only downside, remember to take earplugs, the walls are thin!

Clean hostel, welcoming and helpful staff. We had a room for 4 with friends only. Small flat, no lock in the bathroom so can be annoying if with strangers in the room. Room on interior course so no noise we slept very well. Hostel in the heart of the city center, everything you need downstairs (bar, restaurants, fries, waffles, shops). We did everything on foot.

The hostel is very well located (super central to the important places and the main train station). The place is clean and comfortable, good sheets and it is not cold. The bathroom is good, it has a very good shower with a hair dryer. I would stay again.

In the heart of the center of BX, good value for money even if the wifi is irregular and a small shared kitchen area is missing in my opinion. The majority of the staff are attentive and rather friendly. Good for short stay.

Room a bit small with the services expected of a hostel. Well placed, no particular problem.

Very easily accessible hostel, right in the center of Brussels, so very practical when you don't have a car! The bunk beds are comfortable and not too high. A shower towel for the feet is provided and the housekeeping staff comes by daily. Poorly soundproofed any time but not too disturbing. Having personal lockers that can be closed with a padlock is a real plus. I recommend

Very disappointed by the overall. The only thing this hostel has is comprehensive employees who tried to help me as much as they can and the location who’s very useful and practical. All the rest was yucky! I was informed only 24h in advance about the fact that it was only credit/debit card accepted and that I needed an app on my phone to open my door. These informations were never mentioned when I booked my room. It appears my debit card doesn’t work in Belgium and my phone didn’t support the app. I tried to call several times and send many emails to the hostel to try to find a solution before I arrived but no one ever answered to me. I felt cheated and so I didn’t start well my experience at safestay. When I arrived, the receptionist told me that I have to find someone to pay for me and that I’ll pay him back in cash. And I wasn’t an exception. Three of us were here in the reception and antes to pay in cash for our rooms. About the door key issue, they had some keycard and the receptionist gave me one, so that was okay. (But you have to reactivate each day in the morning, can be painful when you stay more than a few days) The room was okay, the bed too. The bathroom door didn’t have a lock, not very nice when you have to share it with 10 people. Maybe it was bad luck again, but the loo outside in the corridor was always locked. It looked like no one was inside, but no infos about if you could use it or not. After that experience, it is sure that I’d definitely go to an other hostel if I come back to Brussels and I’ll avoid the safestay brand in other cities.
