Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 5 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children up to and including 11 years old stay for CHF 20 per person per night when using an available extra bed. People 12 years old and over stay for CHF 50 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.
Please note that the hotel is located on a car-free mountain and can only be reached by public transport. The Staffelhöhe Train Station of the Rigi Railway, which starts at Vitznau, is right next to the hotel. It can also be reached by cable car from Weggis (with a change at Rigi Kaltbad), followed by a 15-minute walk. Parking is available at the valley stations of the railway line and the cable car. Friendly environment, very cosy, relaxed, lovely garden, good breakfast, amazing room and view and balcony, out of the way of the main tourist area
The location is spectacular.
This was just what we needed- a couple of days of quiet and peaceful time. Edelweiss hotel staff are wonderful and welcoming. Hotel is accessible from cogwheel train station and close to Rigi Kulm ...
