Did not do food but reading the menues seemed to my taste when visiting again.
Everything else
The location (central York with river Ouse view) was excellent and would please many visitors. Otherwise the hotel was good, comfortable (very comfortable beds) quiet (at least my interior room was). ...
Great location and a large comfy room. Breakfast was a buffet but nice that they cooked fried eggs to order rather than leaving them on the buffet to congeal.
