I like the cinnamon bread from Tanche mini shop. Tasty, especially with a slice of cheese!

For us was Santa Maria only tranzit place from midnight to midday. Casa de Tanche suit good for this time - cheap and close for everything we need. Is it part of town which is on construction - I mean...
Stayed for 2 weeks. Cleaned everyday, Small TV, Lots of cupboard space. Shower was a bit slow but there is a water shortage on the island. Expensive shop on site but all the shops are small and pricey...
