Everything about this place is just fabulous. Nicky was a first-rate hostess and the house was to-die-for. Booked this for a group of hikers on the SWC path and they wouldn't shut up about it ...
We had a fabulous stay, the house was beautiful, the location was a perfect base for exploring the locality and amazingly situated, the magnolias, camellias, and rhododendrons at the castle gardens ...
Very helpful and personable hotel operator. Lovely old manor house set it in gorgeous countryside. Excellent breakfast.
Sadly we only stayed one night at The Vean but it was excellent. Great welcome from Nicky, cream tea on arrival. Beautiful surroundings and property. Will definitely return
