The location, tradition, and hosts were perfect for us. It isn't in Hualien town proper, but in a village on the outskirts, which we really liked.
It was a really nice and comfortable homestay place. The owner was very nice and helpful. We also got buns and hot drink for breakfast in the morning. The house is located in the middle of rice fields...
Very friendly and helpful staff. They even provided me with a bike and an umbrella!!.
