Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 6 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 7 years old to 12 years old stay for FJD 50 per person per night when using an existing bed. Children from 13 years old to 17 years old stay for FJD 100 per person per night when using an existing bed. No cots are available. No extra beds are available. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.
Please note that Yasawa Homestays does not accept payments via credit card. You will be contacted by the property to arrange deposit payment via bank transfer or PayPal. Please note as Yasawa Homestays are situated in native Fijian villages, you will be required to present a sevu sevu (kava root) to the village Chief at check in. We really enjoyed our home stay experience as we had the opportunity to experience real Fiji life. Our hosts and the people in the village were beautiful and looked after us and we were sad to leave.
Most People in the village (Navotua in our case) were friendly and helpful. It was quite an eye opener to stay in a local village, experiencing this way of life.
