Your booking can be cancelled for free if the Visa application has been denied.
A booking can be cancelled for free if you have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into your university of choice.

We understand that booking an apartment in student accommodation is sometimes not an easy decision. We also know that your personal circumstances can change unexpectedly before moving to your new accommodation. The procedure in the event of cancellation is described in these terms and conditions. Right of withdrawal If you have not viewed the apartment before signing the contract, you can cancel the booking in accordance with Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
You have the right to cancel your contract with us within fourteen days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of the conclusion of the contract. Please inform us of your revocation in writing (e.g. by post, fax or email) to Dorms.com. The notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal must be made within the withdrawal period.
Consequences of cancellation If you withdraw from this contract, we will immediately reimburse you for all amounts you have paid, but no later than fourteen days after receipt of your withdrawal. We use the same means of payment for this repayment as for the original transaction unless you expressly make a different agreement with us. We do not charge any fees for this repayment.
If the transfer of use has already taken place at your request during the withdrawal period, you pay an appropriate amount of the total amount of the transfer of use under this contract, which corresponds to the use of the apartment up to the time of the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal for this contract.
Surroundings
You couldn't live more centrally in Darmstadt - you can reach the university or the main train station in just a few minutes. TU and downtown are not far. Expect a lively life in the middle of the action.
The area has excellent connectivity, making it easy to travel in and around the city.
With only an 8-minutes’ walk to the nearest bus stop and an 11-minutes’ walk to the Darmstadt train stop, students can explore their surroundings.
During the weekends, you can shop for everything you need at Luisencenter Darmstadt which is within walking distance from the property.

The safety of our students is very important to us. We regularly conduct smoke detector tests and inspections of our fire protection measures in all of our residences.

In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.

We only accept full-time students over the age of 18.
There is a one-time, non-refundable fee of € 50 for administration costs.
Before you move in, we need a copy of your identity card and we recommend that you bring a copy of your signed guarantee with you.
The rent must be paid monthly and in advance, as stated in the rental agreement that you sign when you make your booking.
