Hostel
St Christopher's Inn Paris Canal is in close vicinity to Montmartre and only three stops away from the Gare du Nord Eurostar station.
Hostel
Only a fifteen minute walk from Gare du Nord train station, you won’t have any trouble getting to Generator Paris. The hostel is situated in the 10th district, adjacent to the canal and in close proximity to the Buttes-Chaumont Park . These are two of the most popular spots in the city; the canal playing host to picnics and drinks every evening and the park full every weekend with locals and tourists alike. Finally, with the Colonel Fabien metro just outside the door, you can travel easily.
I had a great stay. I went to Paris to do a fashion internship, and I needed inexpensive and accessible accommodation. The best is very charming. The place is clean, and is cleaned frequently. The people are pleasant, polite and very kind.
A very friendly hostel with pleasant staff and clean, spacious rooms. The breakfast is very decent and the restaurant is really good.
I had a great time, the bed with curtain and plug is really top, everything is clean, I highly recommend
It's a pretty nice hostel, in juxtaposition to a bar. The atmosphere is great, there is a majority of young people aged 20-35.
However in terms of cleanliness, it leaves something to be desired. When I got back into the dorm, there was a horrible musty smell and other things that I don't know. It was really unbearable.
The staircase to climb to the top of the bunk bed is not practical I failed to fall 4-5 times. The storage was similar to cages, it is not nice for those who sleep given the noise it caused.
The showers deserve an improvement, when you open the water (which stops after 10 seconds), the shower column will drop. There is no measure to retain the water, which then wets the entire - miniscule - part.
But don't forget that I paid 13th, the price / quality ratio is there and is it enough for one night?
The staff are quite friendly, breakfast is free only for those who book on the site of the hostel, which I did not do. He still gave me the breakfast ticket; advice bring out your most beautiful smiles!
Thank you !
Furnishing and decoration very well. The private room for 8 was clean, rather comfortable, convenient with lockers for storage. Hostel quite quiet and silent. Well connected by metro. Check-in done at 0:15, it is a positive point. However, price a little excessive: 113 € 2 nights early July, at this price, we would like to have the breakfast included. The entrance to the inn very dirty. The check-in be careful: they register your card on the internet by taking the number of the card and the visual Cryptogram, we did not like it at all. Finally, little reception service in French. We would love to go to the terrace, but beware it's only a few days a week and at very limited times.
Everything went very well. Small downside however: soundproofing with the outside to review because very noisy!
Despite being a youth hostel, it has a very comfortable hotel dynamic, with elevators and a bar on the first floor. The only problem I had was that men regularly entered the bathroom that was exclusively for women
Clean and comfortable rooms but no atmosphere, no impression of being in France. We could be in Paris, New York or Santiago, it would be the same. A deco in Vegas and an American welcome staff who speaks directly to us in English. Some hardly speak French or lose their smile when they speak French. Although the clientele is international, welcoming people saying "hello" rather than "hi guys" seems normal in Paris ... Correct neighborhood, no more. The hostel has the advantage of having a metro station 2 steps which facilitates travel.
The hostel itself is well placed, just in front of a metro mouth, there is an organic supermarket and a French supermarket just next door, you can walk to a cinema VF-VO (10-15min or a metro station), there are many restaurants within 10 min walk, BREF the location is very good. At the reception level we will go back. I had to wait several hours for my room to be ready (and it is not for much in the end, we must leave the rooms at 10am but the rooms are sometimes not ready before 15-16h to finally find a brothel in the room and having to make the bed is even ..?) The ladies of the reception laughed every time they told us that our rooms were still not ready, level compassion we will iron. In the end, the reception was rather bad. The rooms are good (room of 10 mixed), the floors of the rooms are very quiet, very good to sleep or just rest. The temperatures in the rooms are adjustable (AC) and very pleasant. The floors are rather clean (it also depends a lot of people in the room with you, some are very clean and discreet, others put the brothel everywhere in the room, etc.). The bathrooms seem to be cleaned often, however there is no ventilation in the bathrooms, the smell quickly becomes strong and the atmosphere unpleasant if we do not leave all the doors open (this also creates ENORMOUSLY MOLD which is easily bleached in all showers but apparently nobody cares). /! \ The beds are very comfortable, the quiet rooms, the blankets are very good, the beds are equipped with a single lamp, an individual plug, a shelf, a net pocket to hold your things, each bed is assigned a large box that can be secured with a padlock even very small. In front of the Colonel Fabien metro. Close to a lot of things. Easy access. Rooftop terrace with magnificent views. Smoking areas. Comfortable bistro on the ground floor. Rentable casies very cheap (3euros 6h for the largest locker, 4euros for 12h, easy to use). Laundry room of clothes. /! \ No workspace (desks or tables) or quiet space apart from the rooms (this can be boring if you want to work or relax in silence because there will always be some noisy people coming here to have fun around from you).
Hostel
The 1st historical hostel of Paris, private parisian mansion house of the 18th century, offered by the Emperor Napoleon to the actress Mlle Mars, managed by the 1st non profit youth hostelling organisation in Paris, to get a cheap bed with simple and basic facilities on an amazing location, just between the vibrant shopping district of the National Opera House and Montmartre with Sacré-Coeur, Pigalle and Moulin Rouge a street closer to the hostel.
Hostel
We're located between two of Europe's busiest train stations Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est - with 3 Paris Metro lines, great bus connections and trains to London and other European destinations.
The door of the room closed very badly, and with great noise, difficult to close it behind you at each entry / exit, we slept with the door of the room open! Only one key per room: this system is in any case dilapidated and hardly functional for dormitories. No space in the room to lock our things. Room poorly heated, it was cold. The hostel only provides a blanket (no down), which is not enough in winter in their poorly heated rooms. The towels are not loaned, they are on sale only (5 € for a small towel), and worse, there is no soap, neither in the showers, nor on the sinks. The welcome is friendly, but it does not compensate for the under-equipment and the lack of heating in the hostel ...
I arrived at the hostel on Tuesday at 10:30 pm to leave on Wednesday at 5:30 am, personalized and very pleasant welcome by the young woman at the counter. Everything is fine! Cleanliness, home, setting and comfort of the bed ... Small flats: No CB, lack bulb on the second floor, and slightly noisy when there is a group of teenagers ...
Friendly and helpful staff
The hostel is in a very charming neighborhood (9th arrondissement). Perfect place for those who want to see beautiful buildings (Moulin Rouge, Garnier Palace, St. Trinity ....). As soon as you enter the building, you are charmed by the "royal" decoration of the hall. The outdoor courtyard has nothing to envy the hall since it also has its charm with its wall decorations. A delicious breakfast, no frills and enough proposal to please everyone. As for the rooms, they are fun. personally, I did not feel crowded with other people; but it may displease those who are used to large rooms. In addition, the number of shots is really limited. I just have a little problem with the toilet I found too small (it's my claustrophobic side talking) and the fact that there is no locker for our things.
Friendly
If you like the bunch of mistreated pigs sliced in the morning with new age music supposedly soft in the morning and sport on big screens, without sound, would be too much! the cheap spread and the lack of cover from 8:30 am ...
If you like music that makes boom boom until 1am without being able to escape it (it reasons in the rooms, sleeping in the showers, maybe ???) after 1h the human waste will go to bed, in case you have managed to fall asleep, well, you will be awake ...
If you like to be greeted by a vigil in the musical skyrock version and receptionists that you can't hear because of that damn sound, receptionists who work here as in any factory (here or elsewhere, don't care as long as I have my check ...)
The only positive point is 2 sockets per bed and it's clean.
In short, if all that does not make you flee, you are a modern Bidochons and I can do nothing for you!
I could not spend the night with you because I reserved two beds, one for my son who is 13 years old, in a communal room. We have arrived. later. The gentleman at reception explained to me that we cannot sleep in a communal room - and there was not a private room.
It will be very good if your booking system could be clearer in this regard.
The hostel is really well located easy to find
Short stay but like the other times I congratulate the staff for their warm welcome.
The rooms for several are spacious, well organized and everyone's sleep is well respected.
The very rich breakfast begins a busy day when you are in Paris: so many places to (re) visit!
The proximity to the Gare du Nord makes traveling around Paris easier (even during strikes !!!)
See you later!
I had a good night in this place. Well located for me, close to my professional activities.
I had a single room. Clean. Little more, the kettle and coffee-tea and cookies; very pleasant.
Hostel
We are near Bastille, The " Coulee Verte" , and close the Seine and walk to center ( Notre Dame,Saint michel)
Hostel
Situated in a characteristic and historic district of Paris, the Beautiful Belleville Hostel is part of a new generation hotel-hostel with very warm, lively and modern décor; an authentic place of life where everyone feels at home...
Average.
Very dirty
It's good quality for the price. Close to Paris city centre.
I recommend this hostel, I found a rat !!!!
Very God :)
Breakfast quite poor. The stackable berths should be for the youngest, and reserve the lowest for the elderly who must share a room.
very welcome, rooms ok. access facility.
Very well!
Good establishment. The staff always ready to help you.

A perfect hostel for travelers or even for people just passing through or like me, a tourist who wanted to visit Paris absolutely !!
- Cold welcome, not even a smile
- Incessant beeping in the room
- All night long music from I don't know where ... impossible to close my eyes.
- No shutters so we sleep under the light of the lampposts.
- scratching after sleeping in the sheets.
Otherwise the hostel is well located ... and the toilets are superbly clean! Nothing to say about it.
nice hostel, friendly staff
a shame because the hostel is very well located but really too noisy especially when you occupy a room on the 1st floor (slamming doors of rooms, toilets, shower ... sound of footsteps on the wooden stairs, squeaking chairs in the morning at breakfast ...). it would be enough to put felt under the feet of the chairs, carpet on the stairs and placards on the stairs and on the bearing recall reminding people that they should not make noise from a certain time.
Bad
A small note on the narrowness of the showers but overall, good value for money.
The situation is good, just 15 minutes from the Gare du Nord. Breakfast, acceptable although it has no fruit. The friendliness of the reception staff should be improved
Good bedding, little noise, we enjoyed the breakfast. We regret a not very warm welcome .. and everything is not very clean
The staff is very welcoming and very open. The location of the hotel offers the occupants multiple activities and discoveries. Very satisfactory place both cleanliness level and equipment.
Hostel very well placed and with a price within the reach of all. A warm and simple welcome. I will return for my stays in Paris.
