Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. No extra beds are available. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

Please note that guests staying at the HI Youth Hostel Lindau must be members of Hostelling International (HI). Guests who are not members can purchase membership on arrival. International guests pay EUR 3.50 per person per night for a welcome stamp. Guests under 27 pay a yearly membership of EUR 7. Older members pay EUR 22.50 per year.

The staff was friendly, the common areas were fine, the common bathrooms were clean and the breakfast was complete. I had free parking and in 15min walking you were in the island of lindau.
