Welcome to Itaca, Barcelona, the biggest little hostel, situated on a quiet street just off Cathedral Square it is in the perfect location to be your oasis in the centre of this vibrant city. Stay with us while you are in Barcelona and be dancing distance from the best this city has to offer, including live music, art galleries, nightclubs, traditional restaurants and the beach!
We have worked hard to create a tranquil environment inside the hostel so that you have a quiet space to retreat to when you need a rest.
Our staff will always be happy to swap stories, give recommendations and enjoy together all the day and night activities we organize so you can always make friends.
Social and fun
We are a diverse family here at the Itaca and its not uncommon to see previous guests who have now moved into the city come back to the hostel to say hi.
If you want to find out a little more about Barcelona and its history, we have a free walking tours everyday. Its a great opportunity to meet new people and find those hidden gems in the backstreets of our lovely city. We also promote activities suchs as sangria night, sunset at the beach, family dinner, wine testing, flamenco night, home cinema, pub crowl....

EXCELLENT LOCATION
We are in the middle of the old quarter of the city: Romanesque and Gothic. Next to the Cathedral.
You can immerse yourself walking everywhere, walk through the narrow streets and squares and terraces for a drink ... without the need to take public transportation to save money and time.

we are located in a very safe street, many hostels around in well guarded district.
we have 24 hours reception so we make sure only guest get inside the hostel facilities, we have lockers inside the rooms and security lockers in the lobby

I think this hostel has everything a budget hostel should offer: a good atmosphere, friendly service and clean facilities.
