Hostel
Chamonix Mont-Blanc youth hostel is a comfortable mountain chalet, located at the foot of the Bossons glacier, in front of the Aiguille du midi.
It is within walking distance of the heart of Chamonix’s mythical valley.
It is a comfortable and cosy living environment.
While it is pleasant to have breakfast on the terrace in summer, we prefer to gather around the fireplace after a day spent skiing or snowboarding.
Our chef in the restaurant will prepare regional and cheese specialties
Social and fun
The Montenvers rack rail train takes you to the foot of the Ice Wall in just 20 minutes.
It is France’s biggest glacier, located on the Mont-Blanc massif.
The Chamonix youth hostel gives you one of the most beautiful sights in the Alps, as it is facing the prettiest ‘aiguilles’ of Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc mountain ranges, the Belvédère, the Brévent and the Flégère!
Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, hiking, mountaineering, climbing, canyoneering, paragliding…plus lots more activities.

Benefit from the youth hostel’s reduced rate for the “Toutes Stations Vallée de Chamonix” bundle, in winter as well as in summer, (access to the Aiguille du Midi, the Montenvers Ice Wall, the Mont Blanc les Grands-Montets Tramway, the Brévent-La Flégère, the Planards, the Houches, Balme-Vallorcine).

when purchasing the pass, start date error & problem for the 3rd day! perfect breakfast It’s a shame that cleaning isn’t done more thoroughly in the showers (walls, floor)
Friendly receptionist, nice meals (especially the dinner) and more importantly, a very good deal with the cable/chair lift day passes! However, the heavy doors to the building and rooms slam a little too hard each time we close them, it affected our sleep. Maybe install some felt pads to reduce the noise? Otherwise, really nothing to complain about.
Overall really happy with this stay, very welcoming reception staff and good advice. A warm and international atmosphere. People of all ages and backgrounds. A very well located place, just below the Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc. Very nice little green space. Clean room, comfortable bed, and very decent furnishings for a hostel. Small downside the cleanliness of the toilets, and some showers the hot water does not flow. A bit disappointed that at breakfast they don't offer anything for people allergic to gluten and lactose. There is only sweet.
