I can't rate the hostel itself as I didn't stay there, there was a sanitary issue. We were relocated to Villa Luzzatti about 1 km away. These are the same people who manage the hostels. No card payment possible, we went to a third hostel to pay. Back at Villa Luzzatti the receptionist pointed us to room 103. Except that room 103 does not exist! he finally put us up on the top floor with a terrace (which was pretty good!). No hot water or air conditioning the first two days.
The hostel is extremely well located and you are very well received by the receptionists. On the other hand, elements such as bath towels available or even shower gel, a shower mat would be more than appreciated, especially since there is a lot of fog in the bathroom. I was also very surprised to find that there was no common room with kitchen, dining room. Everyone has their own criteria, but I think that warning travelers of these details is important.
We were 11 people and the man put us all in 10 beds in a room of 6. He did not reduce us any money, also the place smelled very bad and was dirty. The toilet paper was kitchen paper split in 2. I would definitely never go back and would not recommend it to anyone.
We booked 4 nights, when we arrived we ran into a person who was not welcoming at all, he told us the bathroom was leaking and we would have to find another hostel. We haven't been notified at all by email or anything. We are still not reimbursed to this day and he no longer answers by phone.
