Sunset Beach Backpackers is situated a few short steps from Blaauwberg Beach which is internationally famous for kite surfing competitions.
The hostel is eco-friendly with rustic furnishings designed by a local brother & sister team with comfort & relaxation in mind.
We have rooms for a 6-sleeper (women only) dormitory and a 6-sleeper unisex dormitory.
There is a lounge/living room & kitchen area
The lounge has a flat-screen TV
BRT Station (Bayside Centre) & Bayside Mall are 1 km away.

Social and fun

We have movie nights, beer pong competitions& table tennis evenings.
The lounge has a flat-screen TV & DVD player a multimedia sound system for music lovers, a table tennis table, with DVDs available on request at no cost. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary utensils plus fridge & microwave for those who wish to cater for themselves.
We have lots of bars, cafes, shops, supermarkets all surrounding our hostel.

Situated next door is a popular night-club with restaurant, pool bar & foosball tables where guests can dance until the early hours of the morning.
